Guild Wars 2

I just bought Guild Wars 2 for my nephew. The plan was we’d team up … afterall, this is an MMO, right?

However, my Server is FULL.

So, I WANT to team up with my nephew, but I can’t? Will my server ever be not ‘Full’?

As if the 1001 things wrong with Guild Wars 2 isn’t enough, when I do make the effort & bring in other players I am still thwarted?

Make that 1002 things wrong :-(

It’s based on how many people are logged in at that time. It’s up to you to find a quiet time and get your nephew in then.

server transfers are free right now.

Don’t worry after they institute these changes to the game with Ascended gear there will be alot more space for new players on the servers.

You could just transfer servers and join him on another server.

I actually want to get back to friends on another server but I can’t, as it is full. This is a common problem right now.

The game is just a bit full right now.

True story. But according to those supporting this change, these full servers are an indication of a dying game.

I read dozens of posts each day claiming the game is dead and that everyone has quit.

And yet they all seem to somehow miss not only the people ingame but also all these threads complaining that the servers are full.

24 US servers, 16 of which are full…..

I can find a dungeon group or zerg to WvW with on the weekday at 2PM EST without trying. Yet it’s still dying. I’ll never understand where these people are getting that from.

I didn’t say the game was dying. I simply stated that it will be easier to find a server after the addition of vertical gear progression which was contrary to their manifesto that attracted a very large player base.

Not saying it’s dying simply saying they are ostracizing a decent number of people that are playing the game.

I wasn’t referring to you (or anyone specific, though it tends to be the kind of people who say “change the game to how I want it or the game will die!!!!”).

And for what it’s worth, I agree with you.

This major backlash on the forum is nothing compared to what will happen when it’s actually changed. The forum population are the minority and most people likely don’t even know about the proposed changes yet.

Some servers are full. Transfer dude.

Thank you … we just checked again after reading this & it was HIGH, so we have instigated the ‘Transfer’ & now he is on my server :-)
