So my guild is transfering servers before the upcoming deadline and I wanted an answer to the following question. Does everything in my Characters bags and bank vault transfer with me if I decide to move?

Yes.

Nothing from the guild will transfer over. No perks, no infamy, no bank, etc.

Ok, guess i should have checked better before, shame on me. just tranfered with my wife to antoher server an realized all our upgrades are gone, even worse, no guild bank, so i guess everything in there is gone too? bit harsh for my wife an myself, we worked for all the upgrades alone and nearly had archi on 4 :/.

any chance to get at least the stuff from guild bank back?

You’ll have to switch back to the server and get it from the guild bank.

therefore i need to wait for 7 days, pay the transfer, switch back for bank stuff, wait another 7 days, switch back again with payment… painful solution. what about making a second account on blacktide and invite to guild to get the stuff from bank? is that allowed or even possible? two accounts on one game copy? bought 2 games those days for me and my wife, dont want a third one.

I think you can guest that world, take your stuff and return to your home world, not sure though

No, your account is linked to your game copy. There is only 1 allowed. You could also have a trusted member of your guild on Blacktide mail the items to you, but you do so under your own discretion.

I understand your frustration but we knew that payed server switches were coming weeks ago. The information on server transferring in regards to the guild bank was also readily available.

No you cannot have 2 accounts with 1 game copy. The influence staying on the servers was intended to make you want to stay with it on your original server. Larger guilds it does not really hurt, but yeah you guys will take a good bit of time to work back up. I don’t know what you have in your gbank but I would either consider it worth it to move back to your original server and stay there or just consider it gone and begin again.

They are also adding new guild perks and I hope they are good.. so unless you moved for wvw then I would say moving was a bad idea. You will have guesting so even if the pve on your server is dead you could have guested on a busier server and still had all your guild perks and earned influence for the guild on your original server.

Hope it works out for you, my husband and I have our own guild so I understand it does take a good bit of time— months— to work everything back up.

well, dont know any people on blacktide, and yes, i thought about WvW and after hearing some stories about big guilds leaving i guess i paniced, also after noticing we need to pay after update tomorrow. lets see, if those stuff stays in bank on blacktide, maybe we find a solution (maybe with guesting) and hopefully i can motivate my wife enough to get back all the upgrades o_o. and i am not complaining, its my fault, just tried to find a good solution. thx for all the replies so far!
