My friend bought this game around release but had issues with the game working. so he quit and just got back into it and world transfers are too expansive for him. He wants to change to my server. is there any way for him to switch? because he doesn’t want to guest every day

If he deletes every single character and starts over he can choose a new server for free.

He can even put non-soul bound stuff and money in his bank, so he can take it out on a new character.

Only way is to roll a new character AFTER stowing EVERYTHING you plan on keeping in bank and deleting all other characters.

If I’m not mistaken, you can acquire world transfers with gems. If this is the case, you could always tell your friend to save his gold and swap it for gems. I doubt it would take that long and you guys can always do dungeons together in the mean time. Hope this helped!

Yeah you can trade gold for gems, but at the current rate I think you’d be looking at about 50-60 gold to cover the transfer.

You said he didn’t play muck before so he may just be better off throwing all his gold and none soulbound items into the bank. Deleting his toons and taking the free transfer
