Literally just bought heroic edition today and upgraded my account I had during the “free weekends” and noticed I was on a dead european server.I am American and in the US. Is there ANY way to switch it without paying gems? If I delete all my toons will I be able to? Also I grabbed the items in my mail from heroic edition. If it is possible to switch worlds that way, will I get the items on there?

Contact the customer support and explain your mistake, its your best chance

If you have no characters you can swap worlds for free.

You can delete all your characters and transfer for free. Make sure you put EVERYTHING in your bank first. All currency and wallet items will remain. Choose your new server wisely as there is a 7 day cool down period on transfers.

Every new character I make get an in-game mail with the Digital Deluxe edition items. (Bank Golem/Hero Band).

So I would suspect the Heroic stuff to work the same way.

I don’t think you can change regions without customer service. I would submit a ticket, that is your best bet.

They do not. You get them just once.

You can choose any world when transferring, NA or EU. You can transfer without cost by deleting all your characters. You will retain any non-soulbound items if placed in your bank. Any Guild items (bank or influence, etc.) will not transfer. There is a 7-day cooldown for any transfer.

Aye, contact Customer Support if you are looking to change regions (from EU to NA or vise versa)
I play with someone that had to do that exact thing.. Ended up not having to lose any characters or items.
Granted, it DID take around a week or so, but that’s a small price to pay (especially since there isn’t anything special happening right now)
Be sure and explain the entire situation, including WHEN you last played, for how long you played when you did, and the entire reason you want the “fix” (remember, ask for your account to be “fixed” and you should be fine, especially since this does sound like a problem, not simply a case of “I’d rather be over there instead of where I originally chose to be”)

Talk about bad timing Had you returned just ‘one’ day before you made your post, transfers were free to 8 of the NA servers. Now the WvW season has kicked off you just missed the offer.
