Guild Wars 2

Hi there, long time gamer, long time crpger, never been interested in mmorpg’s but decided to give Guild wars 2 a try due to a lack of good rpgs out right now and its pve elments, loving it!

I am only l7, today I noticed my level was reduced in an area and I immediately thought, ah well that sucks, but I knew this happens and so was no big deal.

I decided to give the new clockwork event a go, and I was scaled to l80.I play like a noob and have no gear but by running around and being strategic I held my own, got a few kills and completed the first stage. I then go to the next stage and get killed with one hit, sm I right in thinking you get level scaling in lower areas or instances, but otherwise you have to earn the power to go places? If so cool, rank hath it’s privileges, just am just wondering now this works!

Certain places like the crown pavilion will scale you up. Out in the normal zones you don’t get scaled up but you will get scaled down if you are too high for the area.

Ah cool, kind of a shame that l80 seems a min for this event but I guess thats when you start being social
