Just wanted your opinion.
- Made sunrise -> account bound
- Made twilight -> account bound
- Made eternity
- Sold eternity for 4500 gold (not inclusive of tax)
- Bought the juggernaut for 2750 gold
- account bound the juggernaut

If you put your mind into it, you can accomplish anything.

As long as you ended up with more gold after than before then yes. Unless you hate gold.

In my honest opinion. That probably wasn’t really worth it. Sure you still have like 1.7k gold leftover from selling Eternity and buying Juggernaut.

BUT with all the time and effort you put into BOTH sunrise and twilight to make Eternity only to sell it, that’s kinda odd. However, it all comes down to you and what you want. You’re just asking for other people’s opinions on this decision you made. You make the final decision of whether or not it was worth it

That actually makes sense.
Sure Eternity cost more to make but it mostly just looks like Sunrise/Twilight.
On the other hand Juggernaut has that whole metallic armor thing going on.

What you guys are not considering is that he bound Sunrise and Eternity before he made and sold his Eternity. He then used the proceeds to buy and bind Juggernaut leaving him with 1700g in pocket as well as a nice Legendary. Now here’s the kicker. By binding Sunrise and Eternity, he unlocked their FOUR associated skins, which can be applied to some Ascended Greatswords. This is, effectively, the equivilant of getting THREE Legendaries with a bonus 1700g in his pocket. Pure genius if you ask me…

The thing is, if you wanted an opinion, you would have asked it before you did all that. At this point you just want to brag about it. But that’s fine of course, that’s what these topics are for after all.

That said, I would have kept the Eternity. Sunrise, Twilight and the Juggernaut are already more common than starter weapons. At least Eternity is somewhat more special.

You mean Sunrise and Twilight? If I am not mistaken the TS does not have access to Eternity. But still nice 3 legendary skins + 1750G for the price of 2.

If only I was willing to grind the G and mats required for the 2 GS tho and to be frank I dont like the skins and they are pretty common by now.

Apologies to those who may find my posts on GW2 forums offensive and hateful.

Whether those weapons are common or not, if you like those skins, then go for it. Personally, I don’t care about the changeable stats on the original ones and what matters to me are the skins I like. So for me, it’s worth it.

OP, I did the same thing by unlocking/equipping both Sunrise and Twilight, forge and sell Eternity to buy another legendary weapon The Bifrost. I’m still satisfied with my decision and I like having 3 legendary weapons (2 are skins, just the legendary looks) and extra cash for a price of 2.

no not worth it because of karma you wasted. usually ppl miscalculate legendary because they consider gold only.farming 25g a day is not hard at all and in 2 month you will have 1.5k gold almost equal to profit u made but farming almost 2milion karma and map completion to make another 2 legendary is way harder. if you spend same time farming gold(instead of karma and map completion) you make lot more gold that profit you made and you end up having eternity which is the only high class legendary, rest of legendary weapons are just too common.

i only have 15.4 million karma and 500 obsidian shard. I hope I can have more gold.

Of course it’s worth it. he made 2 legendary and give him money for 3 legendary skin.

It would cost him karma anyway if he made he made juggernaut himself.

i made 3 legendary weapons and still have 7milion karma. but if i want to make 4th i will still consider karma farming and map completion is more boring and time consuming than gold farming so would not give away 2milion karma and my map completion gift for 1750g which i can make in 2 months(max) without wasting my karma.
as for skins well this is problem with fake wardrobe he runs around with them while he actually does not have legendary gs, happens in gw2 only

if the topic is about weather legendary is worth it or not you got a point.

I think the point of the topic is spending 2 legendary worth for 3 legendary skin.

aka, well legendary probably not worth it. But he spend 2 million karma for 3 skins, while you on the other hand, spend 3 million karma for 3 skins.

Thank you so much!
I got a better viewpoint from this discussion XD.
Well, tbh i discussed this with my guildmate and they said that i made a huge mistake -_-.

Then again of course I understood that it’s all a matter of ‘what you want’ in the end.
But yeah, I guess I wanted to know if there are others out there who would’ve done what I would’ve done.

No offense against eternity but i only dislike the fact that I can’t control the blades color. Sunrise is nice on my guardian (celestial dye + gold dye). Twilight is nice on my warrior (abyss dye + silver dye). Eternity…. well….. it’s like at times I’ll have sunrise on my warrior and twilight on my guardian and that just blows the entire color scheme if you get what I mean.

Then again, I also would want to know if it’s worth it. (as in did I sell it at the right price? And bought juggernaut at the right price?) Because from what I see, eternity keeps going down in price and juggernaut keeps going up in price! (Bolt overtook the juggernaut last I checked by 100g)

If you put your mind into it, you can accomplish anything.

Considering what you wanted to get, yes, you chose the perfect moment for it. Even if the prices ever return to the old values (and that will only happen if Anet fixes that loophole you used) it will take very, very long.

Actions, not words.
