Would pve skins from pvp make you play more?
Is everyone asleep or something?
I am not sure what you mean by ‘collectibles’. Regardless, the answer would be no.
What he means is that the sPVP locker would become a repository of skins that could be used in PVE.
Probably, but only until I got what I wanted. I love PvP, but hate mini games and little maps.
Nope, never really interested in sPvP. I can get most of the skins by chance from the Achievement Point chests I get.
Now I do like the idea of the PvP lockers as skin lockers for both game modes, but it won’t get me into sPvP.
I do tend to play some of the competitive activities though, but I’ve always liked mini-games.

Hmm…are you sure? It looks like the question asked is: would you play more sPvP? But, I guess you may be right. I use the skins on my character for all the mini-games. I still have never set foot in tPvP or sPvP, and doubt I ever will.
Thus, the answer is still no.
I’m not sure what collectibles you mean as the PvP locker already has a slot for each piece of gear.
But regardless, that’s not what stops a PvE person from doing PvP. What stops them is, they simply don’t consider PvP fun.
He is asking if whether Anet made skin rewards in sPVP (which you get from chests and crafting) usable in PVE would encourage people to participate in sPVP more.
Well yeah, connecting Pvp with pve rewards makes a lot of sense. It just becomes a ‘shopping point’ for visual upgrades which could be really appealing to some.
While I think this would be a really smart thing for Anet to do, PvP isn’t going to become popular while it has only this one game mode (that a lot of people don’t like or find boring).
How to Condi Reaper on a budget
Everything I say is only in reference to PvE and WvW.
But regardless, that’s not what stops a PvE person from doing PvP. What stops them is, they simply don’t consider PvP fun.
Thank you, absolutely spot on.
I don’t mind competitive player versus player like the Crab Toss or something along Keg Brawl. It is the “control this spot and kill other players” type of game that isn’t fun for me.
Which means sPvP and WvWvW is not fun to me.
If they had some form of competition game where my team and another team tried to accomplish something the quickest, like a Guild Puzzle, then maybe I’d play that.
Sadly ANet’s direction with sPvP is this “go bash in that person” mode of gameplay only.
More like 1 more hour per week or more like moar? Cuz skins wouldn’t be enough. I want all my trinkets (hate pvp amulets crap), new maps with completely different game modes and then i will play “more”.
