The peace between Charr and Humans has been shattered; once again they’re at war. Deldrimor Front has opened up and is used as an entry way to Dreadhaunt Cliffs to avoid turning Norn lands into a warzone and the Stronghold of Ebonhawk is under siege.

It’d be interesting to see all the dynamic events and lore that could spawn out of it. It would also be interesting to see how the other races of Tyria would react.

Would such a thing work and would you like it?

The way the game is built really wouldnt allow for it effectively. World PvP between factions isnt really viable. Frankly I think its extremely unlikely you’ll see PvP outside the mists and certainly not with two of the major races as the primary factions.

Plus the core reasons for the treaty havent changed. The Charr still have more enemies than they know what to do with and the humans are still in a rather insecure place with problems with bandit groups and centaur.

I could see something of this if the Separatists and their Charr counterparts (the name fails me) were the ones involved. Trying to carve their own nations out but choosing the same lands to it in. Maybe deliberately.

I doubt if they would use the Queen’s humans and the Legions since that’s pretty well set for game purposes. But maybe, who knows.

Fire up the Hyperbowl ma, we’re going to town!

It could work as a living story I don’t see why not . If it did become a living story , I would definetly side with the Charr .

If anyone read Ghosts of Ascalon I think we’d see why the treaty should go through. That said, the book also indicates there are separatists in both human and char factions – why not start there. Have each nation fight their separatist forces, perhaps the forces collide – separatist human v separatist charr. That’d be an interesting dynamic. Plus I’d love to defend ebonhawke, that has potential to be really fun
