Playing a race for the personal story makes as much sense as playing world of warcraft for it’s dynamic content. Besides that I would pay for a new race to switch to that one say.. if it were a Largos or a Tengu.

It’s about personal taste though. Some might play it for the story… so it doesn’t matter if it “makes sense” from your point of view. It’s Anets point of view that counts.

YES if they let me keep all racial achieves (story).
NO if all will be deleted by changing race.

and I already deleted all races I found too ugly to enjoy playing.

Edit: almost forgot: I would pay to get 1, not more but at least one, pretty face for Sylvari female. Thanks to create it for me if possible. =)

I would pay to have a name change scroll gladly.

At what point…in you character’s life…does it occur to you that you want a change? If I don’t think I like a class or race, I change/delete/start again right away. Is this something that happened after 30? 40? 50?

Anet is a company that knows how to prioritize. Race change? Def not in their book anytime soon. They care more about focusing on rolling out their updates and additional living stories. Also stated in a prior post that they would love to get Cantha in an expansion.

Sorry, but spending 65 gold a player doesn’t have on crafting to 80 isn’t exactly an answer to all ailments.

I would want a profession swapping ability.

I think lights should be able to swap to a different light, medium to a different medium, and heavy to a different heavy.

Like lets say you made a lvl 80 elementalist you loved the idea of shooting fire from your hands but you always wondered what summoning dead bodies would be like. Like any mage would in a game they’d pick up a different spellbook and study from there.

Me i’m a guardian and sure i like being a guardian but a warrior seems more fun in my opinion and alot more useful in other things and alot more accepted especially dungeons. (Those opposing to this statement are guardians).
