Would you play Super Adventure Box if...
Would you play anything in the game without reward? Answer is: if it’s fun enough, then yes. SAB is fun enough for me.

Maybe, I dunno I got my super skin farming level 1 over and over and after getting it , i think doing the game is a waste of time :/
yes

no. but then again in dont play the stupid adventure box now.
Yes, but just not for as long. It’s fun being rewarded for your time investment into something.

The entire game or just the SAB? Either way, if it isnt fun for you, just… dont do it?
I got lucky yesterday and found two skins in my first and only run. Sold them on the TP – made more money than I usually make in a month. I gave part of the profit to the friends I ran SAB with because they got nothing. I really don’t play any game for the rewards – personally I feel like playing a game for virtual rewards is the quickest way to turn something that is supposed to relax me into another job.
for the sake of your argument, i’ll just add “and if there was no title”
and, yes. i played through it before i even bothered to find out what baubles were actually for. if there were no rewards, i wouldn’t be RE-playing it, because i know it already. so now, i’m just replaying for the title. don’t want skins.
Didn’t know there was a title heheh.. went in it the first time just to see and have some fun. I though the bauble things were only for continues.. only noticed the skins the next day.
So yes. I play for fun. Rewards in a video game are irrelevant.
Yup.
I just love the attention to detail. Sure, there are a few unfinished bits in there, paths that feel like they should go somewhere but don’t.
But given the time constraints involved in producing this, it’s pretty incredible and an obvious labour of love.
Therefore I may take some time replying to you.
Well, duh? Obviously.
I wouldn’t play it as much as I’ll have to, to be able to get the skins, but I would gladly play it tons of times because I like it and find it fun, it’s brilliant to me and the feeling and laughs I got into it the first time were really great.
@Mungrul Indeed it is, it’s a labour of love and we can feel it.
Some people are just too skritty and can’t find joy in anything but rewards, so they gotta complain.
Yes. To be fair, I like it enough where I would buy it if it were built out more, into a full game, and released on gameboy. Actually that’s a lie. I don’t own a Gameboy. But if they released a stand-alone version of it for Linux, I would get it and play it
