So my main is full exotic gear and only thing to do is grind wvw/spvp or work towards legendaries. Only wvw is fun (sometimes) and the other 2 are pointless time sinks.

I’ve started alts and am having fun with the exception that NO ONE IS IN THE LOWER LEVEL ZONES… Feels like a single player game now.

But anyways, I’m now thinking if it’s even worth it to level these alts to 80 or should I just focus on my main….

And I don’t know if it’s my server, but 1 of the reason I started these alts is there’s no one in the high level zones besides bots. But then there’s no one in the low level zone either…. did THAT many people stop playing?

5 Crappy ones, more diversity. And gear doesn’t really give you that much of an advantage anyways.

Also, just do a server transfer, they’re free aren’t they?

Already have three 80’s now, working on a fourth and still running into players along the way.

Maybe if you’re not attached to your world, transfer to a new one? With transfers being free at the moment, it gives you the chance to jump around and find new communities that are more active.

I just don’t get this comment. I frequently play in lower level zones and I usually can’t look in any direction without seeing other players cluttering up the scene.

I wish it felt less like an MMO in terms of population. Seriously.

If:

Your bored with your 80 – Roll an alt to 80.

If you don’t want to do that then take a break and wait for Content (Halloween is inc soon)/Xpansion

If more people realized the starter world bosses actually gave loot chests that reward you based on your actual level, not effective level, I bet you’d see more people doing those.

Talking about bosses like the Fire Ele and Shadow Behemoth. If you’re 80, even downscaled to 15, you will get level 80 rewards. Pass it along folks. ;-)

I would love to have 5 80’s and at least one of them be awesome…

Have one 80 now who is almost halfway awesome and an alt over halfway there, but leveling my alt is a bit slow since helping friends with their stories has proven to be unrewarding as heck. I’m almost at the point of telling them good luck while I go find some DE to do because Karma’s already useless on my 80 so getting more for this one seems pointless.

And because I only get to spend a few hours a day in game, and because rewards in general are getting worse with each patch (for me) making coin is beginning to bore me my 80 is probably going to be half awesome until my friends get up to 80 themselves.

Obviously the downleveling system is not working, although I’m sure ANet will write a positive, heartwarming article about how players are enjoying it. There’s no reason to go back, as the only thing there is less profit, and the same DEs we’ve all seen before.
