This stuff clogs up my inventory for no good reason. It’s rarer to get than a tome of knowledge yet you NEED 20 OF THIS STUFF to get ONE tome of knowledge.
-let this stuff get stored in the account currencies tab
-make it so that only 10 is required to get a tome of knowledge

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow. Rare? They are handed out with many of the Dailies. I have to turn mine into ToKs every month or two because of a full stack.

Putting them into the Wallet would defeat the primary purpose; gaining XP.

They’re not a currency, so I don’t see them ever being added to the currencies tab. And the writs give you 5% of a level, which is why it takes 20 of them to make one tome of knowledge.

I just toss them into the bank until I have a stack then turn them into tomes … then wonder what I am going to do with the tomes

I take it you guys don’t have lots of characters?

As far as I know I only ever have 1 at a time. If I get it on a low level character I use it right away, if I get it on a level 80 character I put it in the bank and use it the next time I log into a low level character.

Occasionally I find one I stuck in an invisible bag and forgot to move over, but that’s the only time they stick around.

I’ve got one of each 80, 2 spare slots and over a stack of tomes.
I just don’t use them to level alts and I don’t need spirit shards.
As for writs, just hand them it at Miyani whenever they get in your way.

Rare? Any time you do dailies (at least in PVE) you get 3 of the things. They come in so fast I have given up making a special trip to the bank to dump them because it only takes one to start a new stack.

The OP must not do PvE dailies. I get a lot of them. They’re ok. I use them on my weekly key runner to finish up a level when getting to level 10.

Be careful what you ask for

12 lv80 and enough tomes and scrolls to make another 12 at least …

I hate these things but this is mostly because reward tracks already litter the place with tomes. I have 9 level 80s, a few hundred tomes, and a couple of those level scrolls I’ll never use. Once in a while I will recreate my mid-level bag opener because I inevitably screw up by accidentally leveling them up somehow and do a key run but that’s honestly so boring and keys suck anyways. That’s still more scrolls and tomes than I’ll ever use. It is funny to be level 45 in the starting instance though.

Tomes are already marginally useful, but having little pieces of a marginally useful item is like getting something that you need to convert 10 of to get a minor rune— pointless. And you can only exchange them in a few select places when I avoid Lion’s Arch like the plague.

I would just like level 80 characters to be able to use them.
