Hi i bought gw2 heroic edition, when i went in to my bank and claim Heroic Chest i picked Krytan armor, i play thief so it is useless. As far as i know i canot change armors, i nead legacy armor, so if if anybody wants to trade with me or if you got any other alternative solution to help me get legacy armor, please send me a mail.

No one can trade with you, the armor is account bound.

You will need to contact support at https://help.guildwars2.com/anonymous_requests/new and discuss it with them.

You can’t trade Legacy armor with anyone. It is Account-bound until equipped, then Soul-bound.

You can, however, contact CS, and they may replace the armor with another weight class….perhaps.

Be sure to read the weight class restrictions on the Armor before choosing, or use the wiki, in the future. =)

Hmm, but Krytan armor IS the medium armor suitable for thief.

Was going to say exactly that.

Also, there IS an alternate solution to getting legacy armor. It is called gemstore. Yes, with the current gold→gems exchange rate it costs a lot, but that option does exist.

The Krytan armor is the medium armor that a thief (engineer and ranger) can wear. So your thief will be able to wear the Krytan gear you selected.

I just purchased the upgrade for my account and I recieved TWO different sets of items. One set is Krytan armor skins that can be applied to any other existing medium armor to give the Krytan armor appearance. The second set was actual level 1 armor that the new character can wear. It has the same appearance but has stats and is equip-able instead of being just a skin.
