How exactly do you get this achievement? I have tried so many times, and no one will tell me how they got theirs, they always just say that either they don’t remember, or they just got it by accident. Is there a specific way to get it? specific time to kill the abom?

the amber wurm escort event. at the end of it there is a abomination you need to kill and stand inside its self destruct range to get a buff which makes the giant wurm want to eat you.

The abomination spawns just before the gully/short valley with the final egg spawns during the escort. If it is cc’d it can bug out and not give the buff when it dies. Mostly it does though but you can’t run ahead to the arena with the wurm if you want this title.

I just want to add that if kill it, it might (probably will) bug and not leave the cloud you have to get into to get the achievement. Your best bet is joining that event on an emptier overflow of the map (maybe on an odd hour too, like early morning), do the escort alone and let the abomination walk for a while instead of killing it until it just explodes leaving the cloud behind.

Ok, I got the achievement, I didn’t kill it, I just let it explode on it’s own.
