Hello everyone,
As the title says, we all know that WvW gear cannot be salvaged in its current state. While I can see the thoughtline behind this (Easy acess to exotics in which you can pick the gear you want with the stat combo you wish). However, being unable to salvage the gear means that when you apply a rune or a sigil to it it’s stuck there forever unless you use an upgrade extrator. That isn’t worth it tho, because at the current gem price it wouldn’t mean you would have to waste 28-30 gold to remove a rune/sigil and let’s face it it’s not worth it at all.
My sugestion to fix this issue is:
1) Make the WvW gear be salvagable;
or
2) Make an ingame service, such as the repair system, which allows you to remove runes and sigils from weapons for a specific price (Which shouldn’t be that cheap)
