To start, I must say I’m very happy about the announced improvements to the WvW queue system, notably the ability to see what position you are currently in, which will definitely help alleviate some of the frustration of simply having to guess whether it is worth waiting to enter or not. There is, however, an issue with regular open world queues that I’ve seen with the recent LW bosses that I hope we can get some clarification on.

Multiple times I’ve tried to fight the new bosses and have been placed into an overflow, which is all fine and dandy. There have, however, been instances where I’ve waited out the queue and then been prompted to join the regular map, at which point the action instead dropped me into another overflow. This certainly is not expected behaviour from a queue, as FIFO should be the norm. Will the new WvW visible queue and FIFO behaviour translate to the rest of the game, and if not immediately, is it planned for a future release?

P.S. I tried searching to see if this had been mentioned before and I found nothing, but I suspect that the inability of many to properly spell “queue” may be a factor. If this is a duplicate, my apologies.
