Hello, Frozencore here.

Soo 1 week ago i decided it was time to do something about my ranger since he has been lvl 80 for 2 months and i haven’t touched it since.

I decided everyday late at night when wvw on my server is more active i would pick my ranger and go kill some people :p.

In the last week i got to rank 14 in wvw and my idea was to save up all the rank reward chests and open them all at once… ( i know only 3 chests appear above the minimap but they stack and when you go open them they will keep replacing each other)

Soo after all these chests 14+14(14 from the bonus chests from all that time i didn’t touch the ranger) 28 chests i decided it was time to open them and what did i got. 3 chests lvl14, lvl13 and lvl12 rank reward chests and all the others were gone.

Soo am i missing anything here? should i write a ticket? did they open automaticly and i didn’t even notice(soo they could replace each other)???

I would submit a ticket. The worst they can do is tell you they can’t do anything. Did you log off without opening some chests?

this is ALWAYS a bad idea.

open your rewards as you get them.

yes ofc i logged off without opening :p i got all those chests during a whole week :s but in the end only 3 was what i got

I did that once… not that many, but here’s what happened: I ranked up when we capped a camp… I didn’t open the chest, instead I realized I had a stack of liquid WXP, so I used them and gained one more rank aaand… I only got the one chest lol.

I think it’s a bug.

yea after the replies i think soo i have talked with some guys in my guild they said they did it and it just worked normally wihtout nay problems, im gonna write up a ticket to see if anet can help me. thx

Hey sorry to bring this thread back up but I’ve seem to have encountered the same problem. I was wondering if you got any closure for your problem and if Anet actually did anything to help out.

Any info will be greatly appreciated

Don’t save up just open em asap you get them.

The problem is that it worked fine on my other characters, I could easily surpass the 3 limit on the side. I have asked my guildies and they have stated the same.

I have a feeling that if you surpass a certain number of chests problems start appearing. I think I got around 15 levels plus a few double chests putting it around 20 or so chests that just vanished. It’s not really a big deal because that’s just around 4 gold and some crappy greens.

I just want to hear what became of this as the OP never updated and the bug is obviously not fixed.

Silly question, but why would one save em all up? its not like you get a rank chest every 5min so you save em up to keep some bag space open for other items.

I saved them up because I was leveling an alt and waiting for 80 to open them all
