Q:
WvW Worldbuffs on Mega-Server maps?
A:
Hello!
WvW bonuses belonging to your Home World are applied to your character when you are in a MegaServer map. It is also possible for you to see your world’s WvW statistics and queues in those maps.
There are no situation in which you would benefit from another World’s bonuses. You need to earn your benefits.
A single virtual server should have no conception of different worlds. The easiest way to implement this would be factions. It is so sad to muddy the idea and concept of a megaserver around WvW. Just reconceive it in a manner that understands what a single virtual server entails.
Thanks for the quick answer!
That gives belonging to a specific homeworld as non-WvWler at least some little sense. ^^
And to add something positive about the whole system, it won’t even strip you off your buffs while guesting, if I get that right? (As soon as it is gamewide, that is)

From March 18th Patch Notes:
World bonuses obtained in WvW will once again apply in PvE. Additionally, they will now apply in overflows and while guesting (based on the player’s world).
Such benefits will be a pain on low-pop servers, this will help PvE on them, but WvW will still be pretty much empty as some servers lost the majority of their WvW guilds and now everything is empty.
Poor servers.
Asura thing.
