Hello, i just wanted to say that, after this unexpected patch, most people couldn’t log in.
As a consequence, people from WvW, have taken advantages of this issue…

We lost all our tours an castles full upgraded cause nobody was there to defend because of that issue.

Will there be a backup for this problem or is it going to stay like this?

But, but… it’s only been the 11th of Jan for roughly one hour in West Europe… Patch AND losing all WvW objectives in this time?

How silly is it to lose all upgraded towers because of an update that messed up the server connection?

What is silly is blaming players firewall or things like that blocking the server connections etc etc… Having an hour of non connections to the servers is sure a burden for WvW…

Satisfaction : none!

Would it be better if all players were locked out of WvW for two hours after every patch? That would give everybody time to get logged back in and ready.

Did this patch somehow only affect the connectivity of your server but not the other two?

It is a problem but not one with an easy solution.

I’ve seen it happen, maybe there can be delays in a server reconnecting. The OP is right though it can have huge implications for the server that can’t get back in.

Oh well… seems Anet doesn’t give little attention to such details of this nature…
