WvW and PvP updates will come as feature packs…
There is nothing for the competitive scene in this expansion apparently.
However it was to be expected. A true GvG mode was required for the competitive scene to survive but it seems to scare Anet.
As always the artists did an amazing job.
they give OP elites forcing u to buy this non sense expansion for WvW / sPvP else u get wrecked by OP elites just like HoT didnt add a jackshit to game for me also yet i had to buy cus most Core toons where just that much worse..

Seems to be the case, as with HoT the WvW and PvP additions are the elite specs, all future WvW and PvP updates will not require the expansion.
With the zones being massive this seems like the ideal time to introduce some form of world PvP into the game.
The expansion looks amazing and the artists are one of the best in the industry imo , but we needed the content .
It’s a new expansion with a new price TAG yet it seems only like 33% of an actual expansion content. New Dungeons , New raids ? and the pvp community is in shambles again.
