edit: misspelled the topic as I tried to save characters..

I expected the WvW update to include new stat combinations purchasable via WvW, perhaps even ways to aquire ascended items via the new ranking system or some such.

Now that the Update info was…well updated, there’s only mention of the Rank system.

Are there any infos about a broader itemisation in WvW?

I’m assuming some ascended gear will finally be made available in WvW. Sadly I for see yet another currency needed to buy it.

Not if they use badges, and also give us some new armor stats and some better looking gear for WvW gear instead of that plain PVT crap.
