Hi,
This post is aimed toward anyone on Yaks Bend. How is the PVE presence there? Enough people running around zones, completing events, etc? Or does it feel empty?

The open world seems populated enough for me. That’s very subjective, however. I mostly duo with my wife. We come across other players in pretty much every zone if not at every heart/DE.

Why do you ask? =)

Thinking of server transferring, but want to make sure theres a decent PVE presence there. I could guest, I suppose…which I think I will do tonight.

How is Orr? Gates of Arah and all of those statue events? People do them? Enough people do the dragon events? Enough on lower lvl zones?

I also play on yaks bend and every zone I go into has players in there. The Temples (excluding Balthazar) are getting done everyday. Orr is populated every time I go out there to get the nodes. Dragon events also are full and the lower zones always have people in them.

There is also a good dungeon and fractals presence on the server and it seems we have a decent WvW presence (I only WvW every so often, but we usually have some zerg and smaller groups running around capping).

In my opinion we have a really good PvE presence.

Enough people to do them. Every temple and Arah is usually uncontested, except for Grenth.

You can’t guest there to try it?

Yaker here, Yak’s Bend is one of the best PvE servers. We may not be amazing in WvW, but we make it up with out PvE players. We had some of the first people to get to level 40+ fractals when they were released, we have many other popular players that are heavy in the PvE (Ill let you get in game and see if you can find them ).

We have a lot of “PvE Commanders”. I am actually one of them. Us commanders specialize in organizing open world bosses for players who dont have accesss to a ton of people. Need a temple done? Message more or another PvE commander you might know. Need Karka queen or Hydra queen? We’re your man. I also love roaming the open world. Every once in a while ill go on my list of favorite events, form a gorup with my guildies, and we’ll spend the next hour or two going from map to map completing then and sending our messages in map chat.

Like I said we are one of the best PvE servers, but not the best. Our temples aren’t open 24/7, but if you need them open there are people in there that will help.
