Yay to grandmaster traits before level 80!
Leaving the disastrous NPE in the state sorry state that it was for so long already taught everyone to tome their way to 80, so the changes are a bit too late now.
It sure didn’t “teach” everyone. There’s at least one person leveling without the things.
If I’m getting this right, you can have 2 full trees at level 45 if you have 56 hero points?
My friend has a level 48 character with 2 full trees after the change which was never possible before.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.

Yes, as long as you have the points to spend to unlock a line, you can get the full line (once the slot is unlocked).

I had every intention of hitting 50 and using some extra tomes to finish off my 3rd engi. I ended up just strait leveling it the whole way (well after a birthday booster to 20). The new system is actually quite good. You can go well into whichever trait line you choose getting some nice skills, at 45 you get your second, 71 iirc the third. You get all your utility skills pretty quick. Overall it was actually a very enjoyable experience.

That sounds pretty good then. Even with a full tree and some of a 2nd tree, it’d make it pretty easy as opposed to the crippled characters I felt before with NO Gm traits until level 80.
