I know this comes from How to Dance Volume 1, but…

It pops up in the dead center of my screen. My combat log is full of it. I can’t accept the invitation, it appears to be nothing more than some red text with no meaning. There is an invitation boon on me for a few seconds but clicking on it does nothing.

What gives? Is it just a new-item-bug? Is there supposed to be a way to accept the invitation or is it an ‘if you’ve got this item use it with me’ kind of thing?

You should be able to hit F and get a temporary dance. The option pops up on your screen. If you can’t hit F it’s because you are too far away from the site but close enough to get the message.
