You go ahead...
I’m also intending to delay my entry into HoT until the price declines to a reasonable point.
The main reason I hate expansions is because they are a bundle of things, most of which I don’t care about, that all get added together for the price point.
If you love everything, the price may make sense to you. If, however, you’re only interested in say, Living Story updates and 1 or 2 Elite Specializations, the price is insanely too high.
I’ll be waiting here in central Tyria until the barrier to entry in HoT is on sale.
Not enough bang for my buck. I nearly bought it yesterday, now I’m so glad that I didn’t.
I wish I held off on buying it for a few months until I see all the content that’s available. Unfortunately, I jumped on the hype train and wasted quite a bit of money purchasing the expansion. Learned my lesson…
I’ll be hanging with The Mad King for the next few weeks. Ozzie and I go way back.
I am still waiting on actual reviews to come out for the game before I make my purchase.
I’m waiting for a significant price drop before I venture into HOT and to see if they even deliver on the parts of it that coming “later”.
Not worth it for me to drop that kind of money on what’s clearly rushed and unfinished content. Especially in a household where multiple people have accounts.
