I see no reason under the sun why I should be limited to crafting something once a day. There isn’t even a monthly payment so what gives?

Time gating artificially decreases the supply, making the items (and what you can make with them) worth more to folks unwilling to wait a few days or weeks. That allows patient crafters the opportunity to sell to those wealthy enough to buy what they want now.

Yeah, I’m one of those patient crafters and the time-gating is the only thing that makes crafting worthwhile. So there is a reason for it, even if some folks don’t like it!

It adds a sort of ‘luxury tax’ to the items on the TP. You can wait and craft it yourself, or buy the items for higher than they cost of the TP to save you time.

I heart that. The first set: I didn’t have enough and I had to wait. Since then: I craft whenever I have the mats, so I’ve never had to wait since then (and I also get to be one of the “patient sellers” I mentioned above, which is a nice bit of extra income).
