These are some of my faves

Those are my 3 mains.

I love screen caps! Especially beautiful vistas uncluttered by my toon in the foreground (/SLEEPing below the camera) or with my toon POSED. For this, I’m not talking about just standing still and saying “cheese!”. I mean striking an appropriate pose using emotes, and freezing the action at just the right spot.

Starting with one of my first, and still favorite toon-less beauty shots; Divinity’s Reach looking like Disneyland:

I learned how to get on top of the Bank in Lion’s Arch on the final day of Dragon Bash. Best view of the town from up there!

Here, my toon is tiptoeing through the graveyard, looking back warily over her shoulder. She is actually the middle of the /surprised emote.

In this shot, I was experimenting with camera angles. (Yes, I changed the “swimsuit” color too.) I was having a whale of a time.

…And since we’re changing swimsuit colors, here’s another. Not a “manual” emote; I waited around until she performed just the right “automatic” emote for me, as if she’s washing her hair under the waterfall. I like this one for the closeup detail… it is from the Betas when they let us take super hi-resolution shots. (Bring ’em back!)

Here (previously posted elsewhere on these forums) was my solution to people calling for swimsuits to be sold on the Trading Post. (Same “fiddling with her hair” emote… sorry.) Sort of a duplicate of my previous shot, but the scene is just so relaxing. Makes me want to get away on a vacation.

I will finish for now with a double emote from my Personal Story. My character's stepfather Andrew has been injured by a bad guy, so she stands vigil with his daughter Petra at his bedside. I waited for the NPC to perform the “brushing her hair aside” emote, because it looks as if she’s swooning. I think my toon is caught at the split second upon entering the /cry emote, so she looks as if she’s reacting in grief upon seeing the poor man lying in bed. I believe I also angled the NPC the proper direction by interacting with her.

It took a LONG TIME to catch a double emote, and I couldn’t leave my personal story for a break, because you can never go back.

Quite fond of this one, fell and died in Rata Sum in a pretty spot.

Nothing can douse my fire! Not even a swim lol.

On a side note. I made a post here trying to feel out community if they would be interested in GW2 Image Share and not one person expressed interest, yet every day i’m seeing more and more of these type of posts with images. ah well. maybe one day lol.

Oh i forgot to add this one…its one of my fav shots.

I’ve been currently using this one as my desktop background, it’s one of my alts in the Svanir Dome in Wayfarers.

Not sure what a GW2 Image Share is, but I wish there was a sub-forum for posting screenshots. Some of the shots in this thread are really nice. Anyway, here’s a few others from my collection:

Wouldn’t it nice to play the game like this with only the skill bar. And to be able to turn all other hud features on or off.

I’m a big fan of this one, featuring my guardian (left) with my guild leader’s guardian (right). Dual Bifrosts, Holographic Shattered Dragon wings, and Braham’s heavy armor. And apparently we’re both looking at something off to the left.

Nice screen shot there. I was trying to get a good shot during Dragon Bash with the hologram in the sky and never could time it right to get a good one. Yours is exactly what I’d been trying to get.
