Share any hidden gems! There are so many awesome skins in this game that might be hard to come across or lesser known. Perhaps you’ve found something that’s often overlooked by the majority, but works beautifully with your overall aesthetic?

I think my favourites are:
The Jotun Greatsword- I love the misty/glow effect. I don’t see it around all to often even though it’s easy to obtain if you know where to look. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Jotun_Greatsword

And last but not least- Modniir Quarterstaff. I love the reddish-pink fire. It’s different from other staves but once again, very cheap if you buy it with karma. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Modniir_Quarterstaff

Haha, I was gonna say Modniir Quarterstaff and then I saw you had mentioned it. I love the fire in that thing.

I will say the Peacemaker’s Longbow! The electric purple look is awesome.

Ok, from the cheap side of things:

Verdant Greatsword : the whole set is an awesome splash of color amongst relatively bland weapons. This one can be had for about 100 karma or a decent amount of silver.

Jeweled Trident : it looks like a staff, but it’s a pretty fancy option for a couple hundred karma.

Norn Trident : Looks vaguely chronomancerish, with a purple glow.

Dragonspine : a spear with an eastern halberd flare.

Aureate Highlander Sword : a realistic-looking flamberge.

Glyphic anything. Too bad they’re all condi weapons.

Stepping into the gold range…

Ebon Vanguard Greatsword , Harpoon , Hammer , Bo ws , Staff: The black and gold motif is really sharp.

Spectral Wave Modulator
Azure Railgun : This is seriously in the wrong game.
Sarraceniaceae

I like a lot of the T1 cultural armor more than T2 or T3. Especially the sylvari light and medium stuff.

I also like the verdant weapons and a lot of the mid-level crafted and karma armor.

Really thinking about getting that one.

I can’t get to the Wiki from work, so I can’t link to it. But my favorite Weapon skin is Moonshine. I found it by accident one day and I used it on my Warrior for at least a year.

I use the Jotun Greatsword on my Norn warrior. I think it suits her nicely. I also have the mace Kevin for her. It’s a mace that looks like a human thighbone. Or perhaps it’s a Jotun’s thighbone. ^^
My Asura guardian uses the Peacemaker’s Greatsword. Which I’ve seen a few others use.
My Sylvari ranger has the Warden Longbow which looks really good on a Sylvari imo and I haven’t seen any others use it so far.

Oh yeah, I like the warden weapons too, I use the sword on my ranger and it goes really well with her overall blue/purple theme.

One thing I really like about the wardrobe is it provides a bit of a disconnect between skins and how/where they’re acquired, which helps me pick skins entirely on their appearance instead of being tempted to choose something rare/expensive.

Oh yeah, I have the warden greatsword on my ranger also. I don’t use greatsword much on him but it’s a very nice skin. The warden weapons have what looks like glass or ice on their weapons.

Honestly, I like the aureate weapons. they’re pretty snazzy looking for one of the more common skins around.

I also like the seraph weapons

Modniir Quartertaff for sure.

Also not sure if this counts as underrated but the Princess Wand has really nice particles…

I have actually seen a few tridents that look awesome. If these were changed to Staff, it would be so cool.

Tier two medium sylvari armour and most of the vigil armour for me, plus dry bones light armour. Who needs over the top?

For armor I would say the phoenix gloves and boots (but mostly the gloves).
