Your level, class, and happiness rating 1-10
Level 80, Elementalist, 10/10.
Level 31 Necromancer 10/10
Level 60 (+ several alts 10-20), Warrior main, Happiness 8-9
Just in case you want to know: 9+ for PvE, 8- for PvP (Mesmer/Thief, downed states, auto balancing, focus on Zergfest instead of victory conditions, advanced PvP only for large guilds, no real incentive for a casual PvPler like me (rank 9 classic WoW))
Level 80 Engineer, Happiness 10
So many ways to play! So fun and technical!
It’s definitely not a beginner profession, but once you learn the game, Engineers are freaking amazing!
80, Mesmer, currently 8/10 ’cause I just dislike Orr.
- Rhéidyn :: Thief
Level 71, Warrior, 7/10
Thanks guys! Have to say you people on the forums are the happiest yet! :P
Keep it rolling
Mesmer, level 80 enjoying the game at 10/10
80 Ranger-80 Elementalist 4/10
73 Engineer, 9/10
only because some of the traits dont work the way they should or dont work at all, but I enjoy playing it greatly.
80 Necromancer, 9/10
Would be 10/10 if it wern’t for the bugs that plague Necro currently.
WvW Captain – Horde of Miscreations, Borlis Pass Alliance
80 Necromancer 6/10
I’d like to willfully blind myself to the glaring problems, but just can’t.
80 Warrior 10/10, 7 other alts (ranging from 10 to 40) between 8/10 (necro) and 10/10 (Guardian, Ranger, Ele)
80 Elementalist, 3 low lvl alts 8/10(Will go back to 10/10 once they balance my favorite class correctly)
lvl 80 Norn warrior
4/10
not playing anymore
Level 71 Sylvary Thief 8/10 (will go to 9/10 when they fix the Orr bugs and I’ll never have a 10/10, because there will always be points for improvement That is not GW2 specific btw, I never give anything a 10/10)
level 75 engineer, 7/10
would be more if I didn’t lose like 2 hours of progress I had yesterday and had to redo today as well as my world getting own in WvW when I was playing.
80 Warrior
9.5/10 – Orr is a bit of a letdown, especially compared to Frostgorge Sound, where I never fail to run across other people, or have someone randomly join me in finishing an event.
Also, thieves (stealth doesn’t belong in an MMO unless it’s central to every class’ design).

80 Thief
3/10
Game was pushed out too early. Will come back in some month’s time to see if things are not in disarray.
Happiness with the game, or with my class?
80 Elementalist 10/10, with respect to class
57 Guard (plus associated alts)
7/10, Guard class issues, gameplay bugs (getting worse at higher lvls) and Anets “patching in the grind” since release stop this from being a solid 9.
80 Ranger 7.5/10 but the game is still young, I expect that score to rise in the future.
53 Mesmer 10/10
80 mesmer / 13 necromancer -100/10
trollmancer trolls you with 100 bugged traits. hahahahaha!!!!!!
Elementalist 80 10/10.
Well over 260hours. Wish I could slow down with the game but I just can’t stop playing.
80 eng – 6/10
must have 15 lol
80 War 4/10. Combat too slow & unresponsive.
Could not Dodge when activating non intant skills. Esc wont cancel the skill either.
Only those who play other mmos like WoW or RIFT will noticed this.
Combat on those games are superbly smooth and fluidly fast.
Hard to farm Gold at 80 and Waypoints & Repair costs are really high.
Buying Gems is the obvious answer as i’m seeing it.
Therefore its 4/10.
Sorry Anet, if you check my account, i’m a 4-5 years GW1 player.
Waiting for this game since it was first announced but sadly it just gonna chase me away….. soon.
P.S. I’ve lost more than $60 when i was drunk before so i’m cool bout it lol!

Level 65, Guardian, 8/10
Would be 10, but I gave -1 for Crafting (nice system, but produces a ton of useless stuff), -1 for Economy (production is way higher than demand, ending up with the majority of stuff just being discarded to vendor)
80, Warrior 10/10
So fluid, combats so changeable. So many different weapon sets. So much fun. Seeing 13k Hundred Blade crits on a boss is just …
80, Guardian 8/10
I enjoy the jack of all trades role in ways. Something feels missing at times though.
78, Ranger, 2/10
Horrible combat, bad skill system, ranger is a terrible class, dungeons are boring and griny with way too much HP on enemies
77, Warrior, 5/10.
The game has a lot of potential, but I’m very disappointed with the many broken quests (events, challenges, call them what you want), grinding, Dungeons, the way Dynamic Events were advertised and how they played out and I haaaate the last zones.
80, Engie, 7/10.
80, Elementalist, 7/10
-1 because of the worst downed abilities
-1 because of the worst elite skills
-1 because in order to survive we are pushed into speccing into unfun tank spec.
It’d be 8/10 if the classes were balanced. Elementalists and necros (and maybe engies) imo are the only correctly balanced classes in this game. It’s really OK to only deal 2-3k damage (10-15% of average player health pool) because the game becomes tactic and skillful.
It’s wrong to have classes 2 shotting the others, because the game becomes just another pathetic World of Roguecraft or Lolhammer Online, with no skill involved: wins who mashes the one I-Win button first.
29 Ranger – 8/10 powerful pve class outside AoE-based events, pet allows for aggro juggling
25 Engineer – 4/10 repetitive and uninteresting gameplay, clunky kit mechanic
22 Elementalist – 6/10 combo potential is fun but overall power level is ridiculously low
Maybe I’d have a level 70 ranger right now if I didn’t waste my time with classes that are not viable or are just a pile of random skills thrown together with no cohesion.
80, Mesmer. 8/10
The enjoyment of it all really does die off at the end. Sorta sick of the same mobs in high level areas. Visually the game is beautiful, I like the combat, it’s different but can use some improvement. Few bugs really halt progress (Skill Challanges, Quest Bugs) and it makes me want to stop playing.
Overall I like the game. But there is plenty of room for improvement.
62, Guardian, 9.5/10
There’s always room for a little improvement, but this is without a doubt the best MMORPG I’ve played in 10 years.
I think a lot of people who aren’t enjoying the game at level 80 may be completely missing the fact that the entire world is open at max level, not just Orr. If you game for fun, and not just maximum efficiency at all times, there’s a ton to do and explore and lots of dynamic events you didn’t see yet.
Except you get the best rewards in Orr so there is no point in going back.
Charr Thief, level 80.
Happiness rating – 8.5/10
Charr Warrior level 73
Happiness – 7(would be a 8 but graphics issues make it a 7)
level 80, Engineer, 2/10.
Human Ranger, Level 45.
10/10
Sylvari Ranger Level 80 (plus alts in the mid 40s and below)
After reading the thread, I’m not sure if you mean happiness with my profession, or happiness with the game.
Profession-wise: 8/10
Pet AI is abysmal, sword animation is a problem, the rest is perfectly awesome.
Game-wise: 6.5/10
The Orr zones are horribly designed (gameplay-wise), and horribly bugged, and there are 3 of them for the final stretch. In comparison, Frostgorge Sound is awesome… but it’s one map. Also, I just wasted an hour of my valuable playtime last night dying to an overtuned storyline event until it glitched out and broke, which happened way too often during my storyline, so I’m grumpy.
6 characters, 47 thief, 33 mesmer, 31 ranger, 20 guardian, 15 warrior, 11 necro.
Guess I’d say 8/10. Everyone looks at 1-10 scales differently, though. 8/10 is pretty high from me. Enjoying the game a lot, just see a lot of room for improvement, too.
LV 80 Warrior – 8/10
I like the class but ifeel like the Rage bar (is that how its called in english?well bar for F1 skill) is kinda a bit boring and could have been better designed, like more skills getting more efective depending on how full the bar is.
Also im pretty sure the Warrior needs some nerfs or better some rebalancing. Having build completly on survival will still let you deal a fair and good amount of damage.
I would like to see 2H Blade damage reduced and longbow range and damage slightly buffed. But this is more of a ffeling about anet sure have more data on it.
Level 52 Thief, 9/10. There’s still a lot of the world to explore, so things could go wrong, and there are a few issues – like the Thief downed condition which rarely seems to stop me from dying anyway. But there’s a lot to like here, not just in the mechanics, but the world and the way the world is delivered.
I’ve spent 120 hours in the game and instead of getting tired of it, I’m getting more excited, and having a harder time putting it down … so it’s a pretty big win for me.
I’m sorry I stepped outta yer box, don’ worry, if
ya whine enough they’ll put me right back.
80 Ranger 9/10
Remove the recent “diminishing return” code and fix the broken events. Then I will give it a 10.
Elementalist 80 (but a ‘new’ 80, w/ 39% map completion and only 320ish crafting in my two professions, from that stand point, I’m still leveling, and will be for awhile.)
8/10
-1 for the game, because while there are a lot of things I’d like to see, and may not, and bugs to fix and all that, that’s about all the more it has affected my enjoyment thus far. I’ve had some close calls with that dipping lower because of personal story difficulty, but it seems like after one bad outing, if I sit with it and come back and try in a few days, I’m able to proceed.
-1 for me, because I’m starting to wonder how I got here.
