I have Stop Autoattacking on Target Change ON. I learned in WoW that hunters in instances with this Off (equiv) where probably half the reason for the ‘huntard’ appellation. I think it’s good to have this ON for the same general reason in GW2. I initially tried Fast Cast Ground Targeting as it seems like an economical idea, i.e., saves a click. But, in DE’s/zergs I rarely even know where my cursor is and the targeting reticule is helpful to locate my cursor prior to cast. There’s the additional benefit of its indicating ‘range’. It’s helpful to know if the intended cast is in range or not.

Having the autoattack stop on change can be a lifesaver in this game, because the mouse look bugs out and will likely hand you a random target at any given moment (never mind that someone seems to have hooked the tab targeting up to the RNG).
