Zephyrite Lockpicks Outnumbering Chests?
In drytop, the number of chests depends on what level of favor the map builds to, iirc. As for the bandit keys, you need shovels to uncover chests.

I have shovels too…But as for drytop chests, how do the rest of you make use of your Zephyrite keys? Do you also have more than necessary?

Dry top chest are there, but their location changes with every sandstorm. There is not that many per sandstorm so you have to do quite a lot of them. No other way really than to just be in the storms and look for the possible locations if the chests are there.
I don’t know the exact number but there is like 15-20 chest every sandstorm and ~100 possible locations.
For Silverwaste keys you can use the LFG tool to join for a chest farm map. Keys are quickly spent in those :P
Dear OP. You might want to change your pvp reward track then.

I want to get all the ambrite skins So it seems like zephyrite chests are not just lying around everywhere a dime a dozen. kitten …that’s sad

It’s not that bad. Once you get your overflow of keys spent, you will know the routine how to find them and then you can start to do that a bit more often. One storm here and there when ever you have 10-20 keys
Three solutions:
- Ignore the keys, as junk that drops while you pursue the skins that you care about.
- Park a toon in Dry Top with the keys and whenever you happen to be online from
9 – 0:59 of any hour, swap to that toon.
- Pull your hair out trying to figure out an efficient way to convert the keys (which take up only one inventory slot) to something of value.
In your shoes, I’d go with option (1). Since I’m primarily a PvEr, I went with option (2). I do know some people who have chosen (3) and they aren’t happy campers (or, at least, they don’t have any hair left).
I just ignore the keys and leave them there. Really hard to use them up and the chests don’t really drop much anyway for the effort involved.

Yeah do this. You don’t even need to be on the whole 20 minutes. Just learn a sweep that works for you. Start on one end, look around and finish on the other. You’ll likely get 5-10 chests each visit.
