I went to double click to show someone the visual cutscene from the Zephyrite event and it disappear from my bag and it not in my bank space. I already report it as a bug. Just here to clairfy if anyone else (who actually have it) model just disappear on them? Faster it is known the faster it get fix. Please and Thank you.

Oh, that sucks! Looks like Anet hasn’t fixed this bug yet, and probably never will, because they deny its existence.

Awhile ago, I had a 100 gold scepter disappear from my inventory and I sent in a support ticket to Anet. They basically said, “That sucks, we can’t do anything to help you. We have no record of you even having that item in your inventory anyway”. I had the same thing happen with the Zephyrite Sanctum Model.

Hope you have better luck than I did, because I never received compensation for that.

What? No record of it? That’s really odd. Stuff like this is stored in your character/account database, and they should be keeping back-ups. So either they didn’t say that or are too lazy to look? Running a database query on the backups should give a complete history of the item in question.

Yes, I can say with 90% certainty that they said that. I can’t find the email because I deleted it in my rage, but I think that’s what they said.

I was too mad to respond with, “How can that possibly be? Are you seriously telling me that you have no record whatsoever that I never had that item in the first place? Next I’m going to get my character hacked, and are you going to tell me that you have no record of my character as well?”

After that I just lost all of my will to continue playing and I stopped playing for about 5 months, because I couldn’t even continue playing a game where my items and gold could be deleted in an instant and I get no compensation. Hah, when I brought my issue to the forums, I even had people tell me that I brought that upon myself and that it was my fault for a bug that Anet created.

Well my drama is over with. It had randomly reappear on my Engineer character just now after I had close and open my inventory bag by mistake. I wonder if this was some kind of timed out response problem. I dont know for sure.
