People make no sense with their requests to make the blue of the Zodiac armor changeable…
There are people saying that it’s too revealing, and in some cases the same people saying the colour should be changeable… Why? So people can make the blue skin coloured and have a bunch of characters running around you would at first mistake for completely naked instead of perceived nudity?
It’s like a wet suit, or yoga pants. It highlights curves and nothing more. You wouldn’t accuse someone of being naked in public for wearing tight clothing the same way you can’t call these sets revealing… UNTIL the blue is made changeable… Because at that point it will be revealing.
Let me be clear I have no problems with these sets. If people wanted to run around naked as the day they were born all the power to them… I’m just stating that I do not understand this logic of wanting to freely change the blue while at the same time saying it’s too revealing.
Think before requests are made in such high volumes leading to yet another communal complaint.

P.s. The Zodiac set is an awesome design, ANet. I enjoy the very, out there, inspiration it has. And I would love to see more creative designs like this in the future.

Amen.

I don’t like the armor, but that, ofc, is just a persional opinion.

Other than that, I completely agree with your statement.

May want to place your feedback on the armor in the thread dedicated to it.

Love the design, can’t afford it yet…

But… Both me and my girlfriend hope that one day the armor will be even without the blue… It’s pretty revealing … it reveals quite alot of skin and it is not logic at all as an armour but this game and most fantasy games isn’t so… :P

I mean there are celebs in magazines and pictures everywhere nowdays that shows more skin … It’s not like kids don’t see skin and so on.

Though truth to be told, if I had a nicer body I would be running around showing alot of skin IRL

I might fall in that category.

I want that armor for my charr but without the blue hue.
But what bothers me isn’t that it’s too revealing, it’s that it exaggeratedly accentuates the breasts. If the character was naked, the outline of her bosom wouldn’t be like that clear.
I doubt they’ll remove the blue skin anyway, because without the female character nipples would be exposed.

Yeah I don’t think this will ever become dyable, nor that it should, but I also think that in a game where customization is so important they shouldn’t even make armor with locked dye channels in the first place.

As for being a suit, the blue is the exact dimensions of your skin, therefore it isn’t a suit or any type of clothing at all, but more akin to body-paint. And yes, legally speaking, body paint is not considered ‘coverage’ and can get you in trouble for indecent exposure.
