Zommoros should be a world boss...
Compared to any other mob, he has by far the highest precursor droprate, so yeah, everybody would.

That kitten owes me 600 Rare GS and some Exotic GS!!!

Get back in line, dat son of a skritt took over 400 exotic gs from me.
But it has to be the hardest figth ever, in the hardest dungeon ever! Like a Indiana Jones fashion!
Pretty much a lock for a guaranteed rare weapon as a drop.
Only if you need to create a key to enter the fight, which would require four rare weapons. Needless to say, Zommoros would drop one rare.
Loot drops would still be a couple blues and a green probably.
Oh I agree to this. Sure make his boss battle hard with random boons on him or something, while I enjoy every swing of my sword to his face. Also in order to damage him you have to toss green and blue items at him XD
Zommoros boss fight: 4-player instance, only one character leaves. =P

Upon killing “It” you get all of your loot back just to throw it back in the toilet once last time.
Only if he has a high Precursor Drop chance like Ancient Karka. I miss that beautiful majestic creature.

Reminds me of the good old days of battling Duriel in a Public Hardcore Mode game in Diablo 2, except 8 people would enter and only 1 character leaves.

I have a theory that he is an elder dragon because he is certainly removing lots of magic from the world.
He’d be too hard to kill. He has about 400 million weapons to call upon, plus we all know how hard Djinn bosses were in GW1…especially if they were fire attuned.
Ok everyone..ZERG!
Zomorros casts Searing Flames.
Ok everyone, that was a fail, see you in 2 hours.
But he is a world boss. But he is…
Preparation very expensive.
Odds of victory, negligible.

Everyone switches to ?/Me and takes Mantra of Flame. One ranger takes Winter.
No problem at all.

I am sure that many of us will enjoy fighting him. Alot.
Fighting? Or killing? Because I can’t tell you the number of times I’d have liked to throttle that cagey creature!

Now this would get interesting . I wonder what he would look like though.

delicate, brick-like subtlety.
I kind of imagine him doing something like Archer or Gilgamesh from Fate and literally fighting with thousands of weapons. (That we stupidly gave to him) Snaps his fingers and it starts raining swords. 50 stacks of bleeds on EVERYONE.

I would say, the boss damage and skills is determined by the weapons and amount thrown in the toilet that day? That would be fun all the weapons rain down on your team and have bleeds every where. With a small chance of getting the weapons back?
sure – so long as he’s able to use every item flushed into his mystic toilet as attacks.
all dem exotic weapons raining down on people…

How do you know he isn’t secretly stocking all those weapons in order to arm a Djinn army which when prepared will swarm out of the Mystic Forge and conquer all of Tyria!

That would be an interesting fight…
He could just act like the skritt burglar too. Converting your top of the line gear into rags and rubber weapons.
On the other hand, he should also have retaliation as permanent buff instead of defiance – constanly returning 25% of the damage back to source, just as he returns 25% of the junk items back to the source
And yes! averaging the amount of drops ppl world wide tossed into the toilet, he should have an ever-changing set of weapon skills and such. Pretty sure he’d be a cloth class and his main weapon would be the greatsword. His specific loot could be a bag of mystic coins instead of any other dungeon currency.
Failing the instance should leave the party with 3 less gear parts…
In order to kill Zommoros every single player have to click 10k times to achieve it.

Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.
In order to kill Zommoros every single player have to click 10k times to achieve it.
There aren’t many situations when you don’t have to click in order to achieve something. You can’t really complain about it. Actually, you can! Just did…
Still, I think that’s less a problem of RNGesus trolling and more one of the mankind’s permanent debuff called “laziness”
mysitc forge recipe that sucks you and your group into the mystic forge for a quest that tells the story of zommoos and has a small chance and getting cool loot and a large chance of mostly junk and lots of it
Why? Zommoros is great. He takes all of my annoying green sigils and reduces them down to only 1-3 annoying green sigils.
For your ultimate rage, his dungeon can be found with an item that drops randomly from forging in the mystic forge, and his attacks are random choice of skills of each profession, upon defeating he drops no loot, but all other mobs in his dungeon have a chance of exotic, 4 bosses before fighting him!

I like him. He turns my PvP dungeon weapons into sellable exotic weapons. He’s made me a fair bit of gold.
