I got the Birthday gift on the first 2 characters I rolled at launch. About week later, I rolled another alt. I thought she should be getting her gift today, but maybe I did the math wrong? She’s at 1,092 days, which divided by 30 (for an average 30 day month) comes to 36.4. Was there a limit to how many toons per account got the gift?, or do I just need to be patient, lol.

Your character(s) will each receive a third Birthday Gift at 1095 days. (There are 365 days in a year, 366 in a leap year.)

Good luck.

I rolled 5 characters within an hour and a half the first night of early access, and they all have different birthdays for some reason. I tried submitting a ticket about it, but they wanted me to “stand as close as possible to where the bug occurred and submit a bug report”.

Considering they were all made the same night and now show different ages (the fun thing, last year, they all were exactly 1 day apart on birthdays, whereas this year there was a 2 day gap in two different characters birthdays), I had no idea where I was supposed to stand and make a bug report, so I gave up and accepted that there was a programming error and lived with it.

So OP, be thankful your problem is not as puzzling as mine.

A couple of my first day chars are off by a day also. I had the birthdays noted down with my Guild Wars 1 birthday list and this year they were a day later. Not a big deal in the scheme of things, just a little puzzling. There hasn’t even been a leap year to throw it off.

Isn’t it possible that you re-rolled your characters after launch? I know that I did that and completely forgot about it for the first anniversary. And then, I forgot about it again last year. And then, even though for this year I had written down the birthdays…I forgot again.

I remember creating 5 on the first night. I just keep forgetting that I learned enough to want to restart most of them.

Anyhow, if they are only a few days apart, you still get all the rewards within the same week or two.

There have been reports that name changes for characters can alter birthdates.

Any launch characters have a name change?

Not mine, though I’ve used a total makeover kit on at least one of them.

I wrote down the character creation dates on my iPad 3 years ago, when the two that are a day off now were made. I suppose I could have deleted and remade the next day, but that still means I didn’t notice the date was wrong on the birthdays for 2 years or correct it if I did. Still possible, but I do keep a record on my iPad of my Guild Wars 1 and Guild Wars 2 chars birthdays that’s pretty accurate (I forgot to note some gw1 creation dates so those are by month)

Quick easy way to find out when your birthday is, is do /age. Then look at the days for that specific character, for instance, say it says 1057 days.

So go on google and type “1057 days ago”. There is a couple sites that will be like the first ones and it will tell you what date that was. Then just write it down in a notebook somewhere (or notepad whatever works) and you’ll have your character’s birthdays. Then you’ll know the specific date of when they were created.

Did that myself and now I can easily keep track of when to check certain characters for birthday presents.
