it could be really cool if each and every legendary weapons had 1 or more alternative skins.
those skins are for legendary weapons only(exclusive)and you can apply them to legendary only.
some of the legendary weapons skins are not good or not suits the character,for example the kudzu and dreamer are both good for female ranger or thief but not male.
some of the legendary weapons are not popular because many do not like the skin like torch and pistol legendary, alternative skins would make them popular again.

if you had suggested this about 6 months back i would of called you crazy but considering now that around 60% of my guild have legendaries including myself it would be good to apply skins to a large area of the playerbase, i mean, most people in my guild at least have either sunrise or twilight, one with eternity.

some legendarys are unfortunately a joke, i feel sorry for anyone who wanted to take a mace build seriously and get a legendary, i hope that if new legendarys are ever released that they are approached with more consideration for people who don’t want their apex weapon to be comic relief.

i agree.

when i first saw the legendaries i was so underwhelmed i actually felt pity for anyone wanting them.

i ignore them entirely, as though they are joke weapons from some other game.

one thing i disliked about GW was the drawn-by-toddlers weapon designs, and some weapon sets in GW2 have carried on that Kiddy-Kitsch tradition.

honestly, the legendary weapons look as though the designer was possessed by Disco.

Problem is they’re too easy to get, it requires zero skill and a lot of time. It needs to require you doing something more meaningful and skill based than what is required now… Legendary is hardly the word for them when so many less than legendary people have them.

thats because they need a lengthy endgame horizontal proggression to keep players in game, as much as i hate the idea im working on my 3rd and plan on getting a 4th, i need a goal in game to keep me playing

Personally I like some of the ‘silly’ legendary skins. The Dreamer is going to be my first one.

(Yes it’s for a female ranger but to me the gender is irrelevant, it’d be totally inappropriate for any of my other female characters and perfect for one of the males, but he can’t use a short bow.)

But I do agree that there should be more options. I think it should go both ways. All the ‘silly’ legendaries like The Dreamer or Quib should get a serious counterpart and all the ‘serious’ ones like Rodgort and Bolt should have a silly one too.

Although I feel like the name Rodgort should really have gone to the silly one, given the origin.

Another set of legendary weapons would be better and this time .. no “funny” skins people. GW2 is srs bsns! Seriously, please don’t do that again!

Agreed, I want to make a legendary too, have all the gifts except for the unique gifts since I don’t know which to make cuz I think they all look “meh”
In general the weapons design just looks really crap in this game.
Partly because they wanted western style skins and stuff, no asian :/

When you read Exotic, do you think about the far east? ’cause I do.

Engineers could be so much cooler if they designed them from a futuristic/mecha/laser approach. But no they make stupid bombs and flamethrowers, garbage steampunk kitten designs.
