So. May 2 we’ll probably have legendary armor (this is sure) and maybe the next legendary weapon as well (my hope). In the meantime lads i want to share with you a fact occured on TP today. Someone bought 10k of those stones. The supply was never be so low since apr 25 2016. So then…. buy them now or pay + 1 or 2 gold each later ;D

Since the suply is so low doesnt that mean that now they are expensive af? At least the few that remain.

The price doesn’t dropped (edit:i mean skyrocketed :p)because there are a ton of sell orders that are selling 1 stone each. (Easy tp trick to buy stuff at a low price before a sold out event) When those are gone one stone will cost 4g

There’s no reason to buy amalgamated gemstones on the TP right now.

Gemstone prices have barely moved, it’s better to buy those and just forge.

True like the drop there was with the leather hours after the announcement.

If you forge them is: 5ecto 30s +25*3 orbs each 25s for 10 stones. 20 g… Yeah still doable. Maybe i was wrong worring about it. But still someone really bought 10k of them lul

maybe the price will not jump up for now thx to the forge recipe using orbs (that has a sure 10 gems output and a 25 Lucky drop) but still a 10k+ t6 action on TP on a previously 17k supply material is something now i just hope for him to not fail this flip. Lul

Someone is trying to get a profit on AG, except its not going to work unless they can corner tons of other markets with way higher supply as well.

I wouldn’t be worried about this honestly, after the initial flurry of people trying to get the new leg weapon (of which I’m sure most of them already had the gemstones ready) and trying to craft leg armor (same deal for a good deal of them I’d imagine), prices will drop again as this person realizes they made a bad investment and starts to release their supply.

But because of the fact that we can craft AG in the MC, that sets a ceiling on how high the price will get unless this person can corner all of those markets as well (which no individual player has enough gold to do so).

There is also a non-RNG based supply from the HoT metas.

Also one from the Gift of Battle reward track but it that ever becomes a reason to do that reward track the prices of AG would be hideous along with all the stuff to make them.

More likely because each time a new legendary weapon appears the price jumps up. If legendary armor uses them its even a safer bet.

The price for AmGems has varied a lot. However, a ton of people bought stacks and stacks when they were plentiful from people doing AB/ML every 2 hrs. It will take a lot of legendary gear before that supply dries up.

And when it comes down to it, there’s a whole lot of people that never worry about making even one legendary, never mind more.

This person put a bet on the market, nothing more. He can lose or win, maybe there will be other sources of AG with the next patch

Also, I really think most people never put those up on the Trading Post, so I doubt that the demand will be as high as he expects. Of course, I could be totally wrong and miss out on an opportunity, but my gut says don’t do that gamble.
