I have to play devil’s advocate here.
Some people have to really go away just for 30 seconds – 1 minute because of something happening in real life. These things include getting a important phone call about work, spilling drinks all over the keyboard, a child needs attention, or something else.
I once had to afk in just a PvP match for two minutes because I tipped over my water and had to get it cleaned up and switch chairs. Water was dangerously close (on the carpet) to my computer so I just ignored the game and get a towel/moved my pc a little. Came back with two hate mails saying I made their team lose, how I was this and that, and how I was reported for botting.
They were in the same guild and this happened about seven months ago but still, some people just have to afk for unknown reasons and giving players the option to report afk is too much power and will annoy the devs in the report areas.
Yeah, I know that have case and cases.
But in some cases (Most likely the ones that the player look for a Corner to hide) its too much visible the bad intention of ht eplayer.
Into the PVP match I’ve mentioned, that player has got to the far corner (Where no one goes), and just sat down there. The whole match. Is just such a crap that my team couldn’t report him due to a lack of report option for the case.
The Devs have said you can use ‘Botting’ to report AFK players, in the past. Regardless of the selection, it will be investigated.
You can also send a report (including pictures, explanations, etc.) into CS using the appropriate page-site.
You can send a ticket, an in-game reporting like LoL will just cause even more expoilting and fasle reports.
