- had problems with game crashes → advice came from anet after ~24h
- reported a profession trait bug → stealthfix ~4 days later
- had problems with mobile authentification → got support after ~12h

Was thinking the same. Being that this is in the forums I was kind of expecting to see satirical feedback.
I would like to join this thread w/support, I had a gem store related issue that was handled promptly and in favor of customer service.
Since day 1; their customer support been Awesome.

I haven’t talked to support as I have no issues – but seeing a 100% positive response while posting this (and it’s been 12 hours since OP posted this thread), kudos to the team!
I’ve worked support for a major laptop company before and it’s 95% negative, regardless of what happened

Sometimes they are great! Sometimes, not so great. I’m glad some people have nothing but positive experiences with Support. =)
In my experience, ArenaNet Support has been always AWESOME!
I have had several problems with both GW and GW2 and every single time, the assistance has been flawless.
I suppose most of the people complaining are those who don’t receive an answer after 5 minutes OR very unlucky people :/

Yeah, I have to support that, too. My friend had a problem with his account being banned (someone hacked him and was botting from his acc). However he’s not good at english so I filled the support ticket for him. Next day he was greeting me in-game

I am glad that your experience does not match my own and hope that your luck in this matter continues.
Actually I just had a lousy experience, having to do with server transfer. You know, the whole way you transfer is very similar to the way you guest. It’s very easy to click the transfer button instead of the server button. I had done so once before. And since both guesting and transferring require a second confirming click, I ended up on another server. I’m still there.
Customer service just told me I have to pay gems to go back. After wasting 1800 gems on a server transfer I neither wanted nor needed, customer service has told me I have to pay 1800 gems to get back.
This is my personal breaking point. It’s terrible business, considering how many gems I have bought. It makes me not want to play the game at all.
So yeah, terrible decision on their part.
Edit: I should mention that I realized immediately, as soon as I clicked the transfer button that it said transfer instead of guest. I clicked too fast. I couldn’t stop the muscle memory in my finger from stopping it. I contacted Anet within the hour, right after the Tequatl event I was going to guest to do.
In the end, if customer support believes that someone who transfers accidentally, even a second time needs to pay gems to transfer back, I’m done buying gems.

a few months ago when spirit watch map in tpvp was introduced, my match had a serious problem,everyone in the match couldn;t leave the map after the match ended,relogging with another character did not solve the problem,everyone ended back into the pvp map. made a report and followed up by posting in forums, matter was resolved in a few hours. Their customer support is great! Thumbs up!
Maybe I should open up a ticket as the release hits and ask if the ycan refund me my 51 Reward Levels that suddenly are missing

In game has been fine. Forum support…. specially the moderation team… worst in the business, imo.
