I’ve missed the majority of it, so now that we’re gone and done with it and expansion is coming out, will there ever be a sale on it?

Perhaps if you pre-purchase the expansion get a certain amount of chapters for free? Or some sort of deal where if you buy in bulk, you’ll get a discount? Or something? Because I’m missing 5 episodes and 1000 gems seems a bit expensive with expension around the courner

I know if they had a sale I would pick up the 6 I need so I hope they do.

Expensive? It costs $17.50 for all LW-S2 chapters. There is tons of story and content related to it (plus the skin unlocks too). That is not much at all and factoring in that it came with DT and SW, it’s well worth it to pay it forward to A.Net in support of their game. Still cheaper than something like WoW’s subscription ($15 each month or no game at all), or eating out at a fast food place twice.

I wouldn’t mind seeing a sale. The reason prices were set as they were set was to get people to log in at the time. Now that that’s over, there’s no real reason not to offer some sort of sale.

I do understand that. But still I assume that the expansion will be something between 30£ to 50£, so if other people got story for free for logging in, couldn’t we get at least some of it for purchasing the expansion? 200 gems a story also kind of made sense when it’s just a few chapters that you’re missing. All together, unless some discount is provided does seem a bit much to me still, sorry :/

not about to quit no matter the discount is there or not lol, it’s just that I would love to collect the whole story and well… A discount would make me do it right away

I can see them bundling them together and offering a small discount after HoT maybe.

I totally disagree with having to pay for past content what ever happened to no pay to play?, I think this definatly crosses the line, I spend enough real money on buying fashion and what not out of the store, with the fee of now having to replay old content to see the story this is no longer purely a buy to play, just drop the hammer and give us a sub option with extra perks and bling, bring out the skritt in those of us willing to fork over extra shinies.

I think I remember the devs mentioning that they would do a bundle deal after the season finished.
