With the new Action Camera addition, along side the new F2P model, any plans for a Console release?

They haven’t announced anything. I believe they were looking into it a long time ago, but that seems to have fizzled out.

There’s a little speculation that the Action Cam is the first step towards a console release, but I wouldn’t expect anything.

I doubt it’ll go to the console. Even if it did, don’t expect it to connect to the existing servers.

Very unlike as Action Camera was started as employee free time project instead of being a key milestone on the development road map.

Streaming from a PC isn’t the same as it being played directly on a console though.

Yes it’s streaming, like the Steam Link that’s due to be released soon.

I did buy a Nvidia shield, sent it back it felt cheap and tacky.

Consoles limit content.

Before launch they where looking into it, as well as an official smart phone app. Both where dropped sometime before the launch of GW2.
