will arenanet ever intoduce a housing system like when you can buy a house or build a house

Actually, there’s an empty house in the instanced zone (if you’re playing human, I should say). Nobody seems to live there, so I claim it as my own when I go there. You can do the same. It’s already furnished and everything.

I think I remember a ways back they said they were going to allow further customization in your Personal Instance, as well as Guild Housing. But no idea when those features would be implemented.

Would be nice to have our own Personal House in our Personal Instance. Rift has a new feature with Personal Housing now which is really neat.

As well as Skyrim’s Hearthfire has the ability to build your own house. I think that would be an awesome feature to add to Guild Wars 2. Make an open space in your Personal Instance where you can construct your house. Have you collect materials to build it so it is something for people to work on over time and customize it how they want. (now we just need marriage and adoption…. jk).

I wouldn’t mind working towards furnishing my own house. It’s a goal that I actually like doing.

In fact, a lot of the time it’s the main reason I do LoTRO’s festivals.

Me: “Ooh, a fancy new apple tree I can put in my front yard”
(Cost: 25 festival tokens)
Me: “Eh, sure no problem.” ;P
Me: “Wait, what’s that? A fancy new chandelier? yay”
