Rings cost 35 laurels and amulets 30, is that “normal”?
Just by doing fractals dailies you can easily get a ring. Some people have their bank full of ascended rings. Also, I thought ascended amulets would also be available from the fractals vendor or from the daily chest, I see this is not the case.. too bad, I thought it was the philosophy to be able to get items the way I want. And 30 laurels is a lot..

Based on pure stat points, the rings seem to be a bigger upgrade than the amulet, which would attribute to its higher cost.

what? you can’t use fractal relics to buy ascended amulets? im one of those that has two full bank sections full of ascended rings, was hoping for an exchange, crunch, breakdown system to be utilized… )=

amulets have more stat than rings, and if you are talking about the upgrade from exotic stats, I just checked and they are no different.
