Guild Wars 2

I was doing fotm the other day when an exotic droped and i was pretty glad and wanted to sell it the only problem was that it just went accountbound on drop. Is this a bug? Is this just how exotics work now??
I am planning on making and selling my Moot, so does that mean i wont be able to sell it, and it would just go auto account bound?? thx in advance

does anyone have a definete answer? really need some help

FotM exotic drops have always been account bound on drop. just salvage it and hope u can get the insignia back.
