Currently patching… and judging from the fact of just how long it’s taking, looks like A LOT has changed. (40 mins in & only @ 84%)

Anything Major I should do/know before I even hop in?

Last I was playing, there was no legendary armor, should I bother working for ascended anymore?

Speccing for healing was pretty pointless, game was all about maximizing DPS.
Is this still the case?

Are any members of the long gone [VIS] still around?

haha tried again a couple times.
tried run as admin…
trying a -repair now
next will be restart
then i’ll bother support.

Any other tips for once I actually get in game?

What is the problem so u can’t enter?What sort of error comes out.As for the game itself,it changed soo much in past 2 years and all on better,well all except class balance where they destroyed certain builds such as thief d/d.
If u not 80 then get 80 =p,farm some gold and get exotic armor and weapons,for you atm,best way is to do world bosses to get gold.After that go to jungle,its part of HOT expansion.You have lots of content to play to catch with this new expansion.

You could make sure you aren’t using any 3rd party programs, such as graphics card apps.

Make sure you are using any programs like LavaSoft, and such.

using -32 did the trick.

quite unexpected since I used to run it with -64 without issue back when that was in beta.

legendary armor is out theres a new living world season (with 6 new maps) new raids, new fractals, new legendary trinket, new legendary backpiece for wvw etc etc etc.
