As the title says I been away about 6months, last thing I played was when they came out with the 2nd 8 bit dungeon and something happened with refugee in that karka place.

I want to know what’s changed and is it worth reinstalling the game again? I mean it’s free to paly after you buy it and it was fun when I played, but after leveling all the characters to max and getting their gears for each build /skin / looks it got repetitive and i stopped. I played sPvP and PvP a lot and did WvW when a group of my buddies were on.

So…….What’s changed? Higher Max Level? Better dungeon design? new instance? Let me know. I would really appreciate any good info on the state of the game. Did they do a new jumping clock tower?

Well there as been some new permanent content added since you last played, about 70%-80% was temporary and you missed it and will never get the chance to play it EVER.

So there you go…

Permanent mechanic additions? Pff, this is GW2, not some run of the mill MMO…

There are good content that you should try.
If you like raid type content then right now there are 3 world bosses (Tequatl, Triple Trouble Great Jungle Wurm and unfortunately temporary Twisted Marionette) that need more than 1 button spamming.
If you like dungeons you should try fractals or Twilight Arbor New Path (Aetherpath).
If you like gear progression there is new type of armor set but there are no content that you couldn’t do without it.
In pvp they are changing reward system and probably we will see new gametype.
WvWvW there will be new map soon.
But I think you should go and find what you like. Dont rely on forums because there are so many people that just complain and don’t give any constructive criticism. People who actually like game are playing it.

Yep living story is still temporary content largely, still people think they need to point this out in every thread on the forums.

No not at all…just being factual. I have done all the temporary content, so not bothered if it stays or goes…

I bolded ‘never’ because some players just don’t get that large amount of content is added and then taken away never to be introduced again.

That’s just how GW2 rolls…

If you leave, then you will miss stuff and not get the chance to do it ever again.

True, I’ve missed so much content which’d be cool to do – but it was my choice not to login, I got over it pretty quickly :P
