I jus made incinerator for my ele and I’m looking for a good focus. I use bolt and anomaly on my mes, and I was using chaos dagger and focus on ele. Need some ideas

You can get the skin item for a few badges at the wvw vendor so no transmutation cost, there’s FX with the blue flame leaving a trail behind you, and if you’ve got incinerator in the other hand, it’ll fit neatly the DIY handyman look.

Can you please give a picture of your ele(armor and dyes) so we can get an idea what would fit better?

I like several.

I love the last WvW torunament one (forgot the name) and the SAB blue one.
There are others as well, but not on my list at the moment.

I was really disapointed by The Anomaly , because it keeps glowing on your belt, if not drawn. It is so annoying. I wish it would get dark there.

I found the chimeric prism focus the most fitting of all foci skins I know of for my elementalist. You need 20 hall of monument points in Guild Wars 1 for it though.

I just changed to knowledge is power, I already had the skin and its cheap anyway and I reallllly like it since its gold. Phoenix focus is nice, I may end up getting that one!

hrmmm so far Knowledge is Power is my choice. Im shocked to see so many different popular focus. I guess I just dont notice them in game but in my mind everyone uses The Anomaly

Not everyone likes shiny… and not everyone likes purple

Personally I like Purple but it’s far too overused in this game so I avoid it. I have Minstrel but I still use Ambrosia on my Norn Mesmer, and Courage on my Voodoo Sylvari Necro. Minstrel really only kind of fits my Ele.

ive been thinking of making mistrel, but I feel like its tailor made for mesmers

I guess I see ya there, just never hit me that way. I only got it because of playing a bard in EQ for YEARS, so I had to get it. My Mesmer is a bit silly looking the way it does, and he still uses Ambrosia (norn!). I’d still rank Minstrel as my third favorite focus, my favorites being Ambrosia and Courage… much cheaper options

I do think it’d fit your gold scheme. And who says Music can’t be what triggers your control of the elements? In fact in a book series I’ve read “Incarnations of Immortality” a lady who plays a harp becomes Mother Nature and controls the elements through playing that harp…
