What do you mean you’re missing those items? Did you have them all in your bank or inventory before you stopped playing and now they’re gone? Are you absolutely sure you didn’t get rid of them at some point (sell them, salvage them, delete the character/s that had them equipped)?

As for traits that’s a new system that got put into the game a little over a year ago. You either have to unlock traits by completing specific activities or you have to buy them.

Personally I prefer to do the events etc. to unlock them, but if you want to buy them you really don’t need to worry about skill points. You can get more than enough just by levelling up and doing all the skill challenges in the maps, and you keep getting them after reaching level 80 so there’s actually an infinite number of them available.

The first part is better off in the support forum or just send in a ticket.

To answer the second part, yes you have to buy every trait (if you didnt unlock them before), and yes there are enough skill points available to do so, plus you can get more out of champ bags. However the expansion is going to change this all around, so unless you NEED those traits to play for the next 2-3 months, wait and save your gold/skill points til then.

Which Beta are you refering to? Regardless, your best bet is to contact customer support ingame. It’s unlikely that customer support checks these forums.

Traits will be overhauled again soon™, before HoT hits. don’t waste your time/gold on buying traits.

Do not use the in-game reporting tool to contact the CS Team. You will receive no response should you do so. You can, however, post in the Account Issues sub-forum where the CS Team does read and respond.

If you give more information about the ‘missing’ items, the forums might be able to assist you with the changes to the game in your absence such as the Wardrobe, etc.

Otherwise, you can contact the CS Team using the (Support) link above/below and submitting a request. (You can peruse the Knowledge Base there, as well, and read about the Wardrobe, and other changes…or use the Wiki link above.)

Good luck.

Did you leave a really long time ago? Before the wardrobe and the new player experience? The latter explains why you have to buy or quest for traits. It’s possible all the cultural armor that you bought are all skins now that can be applied to any existing armor with transmutation charges (the other two types are gone).

If you are returning from a really long time ago, there are a few new systems to get used to.

I am missing every piece of cultural and dungeon armor and weapons I bought.

I’m assuming you’re looking in the wardrobe for their skins? If you no longer have the original items, their skins will not be unlocked. You will need to login to each character to unlock what they have in their inventory and you’ll also need to enter the heart of the mists to unlock any PvP skins you had.

and that toon has to BUY every single trait?

Don’t bother. In a month or two, they’ll be free again – you’ll only need to complete 65 skill challenges in total (and be 80) to unlock everything. If you must, only unlock what you need.

He probably lent his account to his brother……

Big mistake.

A warrior, a guardian, and an elementalist walk into an open field…
The Warrior turns to the guardian and says, “Did you hear something?”
Guardian replies, “No, but how’d the elementalist die?”
