I am almost done with Gift of Mastery, and im gonna farm for Gift of Fortune.
now should i keep them and wait for the new staff legendary or get the bifrost (i really love it. However, im afried the new staff legendary would have better looking than bifrost.

So,
What do you guys think ?

why not wait? prepare the gifts (except for the gift of bifrost). VBut if you like it that much craft it now I guess or wait for precursor crafting.

There’s no guarantee that the first batch of new legendaries will have a staff. (Unless there’s a confirmed list that I’ve missed, but the blog post says specifically that there will be a handful of new legendaries introduced.)

Im pretty sure that its a new legendary staff which was datamined 2 years ago when they supposed to be released along with other stuff.

Make the Bifrost now.

Nothing is stopping you from making the new legendaries if you have the old ones.

Until you know what the new one is it’s impossible to know which one you’ll like better and no one knows what the new staff will look like yet. An image was datamined years ago, but that may not be the one they’re going to put in the game.

So your options are either to go ahead and make the Bifrost now if you like it, or to wait until the new staff is revealed and then decide which you prefer.

(Personally I’m hoping the new legendaries will be ‘opposites’ of what we’ve got now, so the new staff will be dark and maybe a bit creepy, something for people who don’t like the rainbow effect on the Bifrost. But I have no idea if Anet will do that.)

You don’t want to be stuck with a Gift of Fortune if you need a Gift of Wealth instead. Not with how expensive t6 mats are.

The new one hands down if you’re patient.

WoodenPotatoes said it’s the same way except for precursor and the weapon gift, but to be safe im gonna farm gold only for now, and wait, the precursor im gonna craft it with the new method. and with that gold buy the t6.

A question: what is the best way to farm gold nowadays ?

I personally gave Bifrost a pass since it’s not what I want my Necromancer to use.
