I need to buy episodes 5, 6, 7, and 8 to be able to do achievements? Would just like a confirmation before I buy to unlock. That I can’t piggy back on someone elses instance to get the achieves.

Oh and that’s 800 vs 1100ish for the full season. I won’t suddenly need the full season for anything else will I? Note I hate LS and don’t care about story. Just want the lumi cosmetic option. But I don’t need episodes 1-4 (or w/e I’m missing) for some other cosmetic I don’t know about do I?

If all you want is Bioluminescent armour, you do only need episodes 5-8. If you ever want Mawdrey as an Ascended backpack/Bloodstone Dust eater, though, you’ll also need Episodes 3 and 4, and by that point you might as well get the full season.

Mawdrey is a ‘cosmetic’, though most people will be building it for the stats/Bloodstone eater.

Piggy back only work for you to see the story, you won’t get the rewards and for the achieves you also need to have finished the story, so yeah, you need to buy it to be able to do get the bio set.
